Manufacturing Process All of our hides are produced from US Heavy Native Steer hides, and processed at one of the finest tanning facilities in all the Americas.  CHAHIN LEATHERTM has been a family owned and operated tannery since 1932.    Their commitment to quality is evident in their employees, technologic advancements, and experience which delivers a constant product of superior quality. Strict controls have been established and are constantly monitored at the on site Chemical and Tanning Process laboratory.  The Trial Tanning Process laboratory is in charge of developing new tanning processes, as well as improving old ones. The finishing department, equipped with the latest system from Italy, is completely pollution free and can produce virtually any finish desired by our customers.
